Welcome to the Web Page of the Department of Psychology at Middle East Technical University. We have updated and renewed our webpage to provide more information about our department and to initiate more interactive communication with our students. Our department has programs both at the undergraduate and the graduate level. Our undergraduate program offers courses that reflect the rich mosaic of the subdisciplines in psychology and aims to provide a solid foundation for future professional careers in both academic and applied settings. At the graduate level, we offer both M.A. in social, clinical, and industrial/organizational psychology and Ph.D. in social and clinical psychology. Currently, our department has 16 faculty members, 21 assistants and more than 120 graduate students studying a variety of areas from traffic psychology to psychopharmacology. We are hoping to grow more and hire new faculty members in near future. Our department place high value on both research and teaching activities and are supported by the major research funding agencies, such as TÜBİTAK and TUBA.
