LAB EQUIPMENTS & TESTS

Neuropsychological and cognitive tests- Vienna Test Battery, Cambridge Neurological Test Administration Battery (CANTAB) and Useful Field of View (UFOV) are used to test drivers’ driving abilities. Vienna Test Battery provides measures of basic psychomotor functions; such as, perception, eye- foot- hand coordination, and reaction time. CANTAB measures high level cognitive functioning; such as, memory, learning, attention, problem solving. UFOV provides measures of processing speed, selective attention and divided attention.

Vision test- Vector Vision CSV 1000 is an eye test that measures visual acuity and contrast sensitivity.

Other equipments- There are also two cameras, a hand- held radar and other necessary equipments for field observations.
